The first two systems are expected to be delivered in March and June this year for Atlantis Augusta and Atlantis Alicante vessels.

The rest of the EX-systems are scheduled to be delivered in 2018 / 2019, for retrofitting installation on the existing fleet during special dry dock surveys in 2019 / 2020.

"Atlantis Tankers and Armona Denizcilik are known to ferry cargo including organic and non-organic chemicals, clean and dirty petroleum products and vegetable and lube oils."

Optimarin specially engineered EX model meets the stringent Zone 1 ATEX requirements, making it suitable for installation on-board a wide variety of tankers carrying flammable or explosive materials.

Using the same proven technology as the standard OBS, inactivating marine organisms through filtration and high doses of UV irradiation, the EX design offers a refined configuration, whereby the power supply is positioned outside potentially hazardous areas.
