Tideworks Technology has been selected by Halterm Container Terminal in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada to deploy its terminal operating system (TOS) solutions, replacing the previous system.

Under the deal, Tidewater will deliver a suite of integrated TOS solutions including the Mainsail Vanguard, Spinnaker Planning Management System, Traffic Control, Forecast and Digital Bridge, and its business intelligence and performance indicator monitoring tool.

The company will also provide its GateVision gate operating system to streamline gate activity at the terminal, which is located on a 70-acre site in the Port of Halifax.

The new system will be operational in 2012.
