Aboa Mare and Royal Caribbean Launch Cooperation on Engineering Cadet Programme-feature-image

Aboa Mare Maritime Academy and Training Center has entered a new cooperation with Royal Caribbean Group, one of the world’s leading cruise companies. Through the partnership, engineering students at Aboa Mare will have the opportunity to apply for Royal Caribbean’s cadet programme and complete supervised onboard training on international cruise vessels.

Royal Caribbean Group has selected Aboa Mare as a partner for its cadet programme. The cooperation will initially focus on engineering students, with the first cadets expected to sign on to Royal Caribbean vessels in October 2026. Students interested in the program will be able to apply through a separate application process.

Supervised onboard training is an essential part of maritime education at Aboa Mare. The new cooperation strengthens the international training opportunities available to students and supports their professional development in the maritime sector.

The partnership offers students valuable experience in a global operating environment and provides a pathway to develop their skills onboard vessels operated by one of the world’s leading cruise companies.
