STX Offshore and Shipbuilding has signed an agreement with NAPA, a software developer, for ship design and operations to develop models for environment efficient STX vessels.

Under the agreement, NAPA will provide software solution for the Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) in STX newbuildings.

NAPA will provide a solution for energy saving through optimum utilisation of trim, route and speed engine revolutions per minute (RPM).

The company will also provide an office platform to provide a quick overview of the vessel efficiency, solutions for detail analysis of hull and propeller performance and monitoring of SEEMP.
