Carnival Cruise Line has suspended all its operations around the world until 26 June amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Previously, the cruise line suspended its operations across North America and they were expected to resume on 10 April.

Additionally, the cruise line has also cancelled the cruise ship sailings from San Francisco, US, this year.

The Carnival Sunrise sailings have been cancelled until 19 October, Carnival Legend sailings until 30 October 30 and Carnival Radiance sailings until 1 November.

In a statement, Carnival Cruise Line said: “We truly value our guests and appreciate your patience and understanding. To that end, we want to provide flexibility as you think about your future plans.

“Below are two options for guests whose cruise has been cancelled to consider, including a bonus value offer. We look forward to welcoming you onboard when the time is right for you.

“Carnival will honour this offer for any guests who were previously booked on these voyages and cancelled their booking on or after March 6 2020.”

Guests who booked cruise trip longer than six days can either choose to receive a full refund or 100% future cruise credit valid with $600 onboard credit for each stateroom.

For voyages less than five days, guests can avail 100% future cruise credit and $300 onboard credit for each stateroom or full refund of the fare paid.

The future cruise credit is valid for the next cruise if it is booked before 31 December for a cruise departing before 31 December 2022.
