Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has secured a $370m contract to construct two 174,000m³ liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers.
The vessels will be powered by X-DF duel-fuel engines, which can run on both natural gas and diesel.

The vessels, which will be delivered in July and October 2020, will be fitted with a Mark-III Flex-type containment system to minimise boil-off gas (BOG).
Keppel Singmarine, a unit of Keppel Offshore and Marine (Keppel O&M), has received a contract from Mitsui AP to build a 7,990dwt dual-fuel bunker vessel.
The vessel will be used by Sinanju Tankers Holdings to deliver marine fuels to vessels within local port limits.
The tanker, which will be the first LNG-fuelled bunkering vessel in Singapore, will be constructed in line with the Bureau Veritas guidelines.

Based in Germany, Hamburg Süd is a container shipping company, while Electrolux is its customer based in Sweden.
In 2017, the firms jointly introduced a sustainability project, which involved the deployment of Hamburg Süd’s container vessel named Santa Catarina.

PAO Sovcomflot (SCF Group) has raised $252m from a consortium of six international banks for purchasing six Aframax tankers.
The consortium includes ABN AMRO Bank, BNP Paribas, Citibank, ING Bank, KfW IPEX-Bank, and Société Générale.
