Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has secured a $370m contract to construct two 174,000m³ liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers.
The vessels will be powered by X-DF duel-fuel engines, which can run on both natural gas and diesel.

The vessels, which will be delivered in July and October 2020, will be fitted with a Mark-III Flex-type containment system to minimise boil-off gas (BOG).
Keppel Singmarine, a unit of Keppel Offshore and Marine (Keppel O&M), has received a contract from Mitsui AP to build a 7,990dwt dual-fuel bunker vessel.
