South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard has received a KRW56.97bn ($49.54m) order from KSS Line to build a 35,000cbm LPG / ammonia carrier.

The LPG / ammonia carrier is scheduled to be delivered in May 2013, according to asiasis.com.

Following the delivery the vessel will be chartered for five years (with an additional five-year option) to Mitsui.

Previously, the company disclosed the new order for a 20,000-50,000cbm of medium-size LPG carrier, following the Pertamina’s project that was announced in June 2010.

Hyundai Mipo’s LPG-carrier order book includes a pair of 20,550cbm carriers and one 35,000cbm carrier.
