Vision Marine Technologies, a provider of electric marine propulsion, has announced a collaboration with pontoon manufacturer Smoker Craft for the integration of advanced electric powertrains in pontoons.

The partnership aims to produce an advanced pontoon platform that incorporates Vision Marine’s electric propulsion systems, including the pontoon-specific P-Powerpack.

The combined expertise of Vision Marine and Smoker Craft will be utilised to enhance electric pontoon capabilities.

Smoker Craft’s manufacturing facilities are equipped with precision engineering capabilities, laser cutting technology, and rigorous quality control, positioning them as an excellent partner for bringing Vision Marine’s E-Motion 180E electric powertrain to the market.

The E-Motion 180E electric powertrain features multi-sensor captors and independent cooling. It is equipped with an onboard charging system that enables fast and easy charging from any shore outlet.
