LABYRINTH PISTON COMPRESSOR (LABY®) FOR MARINE AND LAND-BASED BOIL-OFF GAS APPLICATIONS

The Laby® is particularly suited as a boil-off compressor for liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), propylene, ethylene and other hydrocarbon gases. Other applications for this compressor type are in the industrial gases (oxygen, nitrogen, noble gases) and hydrocarbon processing industries.

It features outstanding reliability, very low maintenance and long intervals between overhauls. The compressor crankcase has a gas-tight design and it is insensitive to sudden suction temperature changes; boil-off gas compressors for LNG receiving terminals are able to handle suction temperatures ranging from +40ºC to -160ºC.
