Rolls-Royce Marine has signed a cooperation agreement with Nauta SA ship repair yard to deliver an unparalleled level of service and skill to customers in Poland.

Under the terms of the agreement, Rolls-Royce will obtain exclusive rights to provide services on all of the company’s equipment arriving at the shipyard.

In turn, the cooperation is expected to bring in an increased flow of customers into the shipyard, ensuring that they can readily access the original equipment manufacturer expertise.

Rolls-Royce Marine Services Europe and Africa senior vice-president Knut Hovland said: "We are delighted to build our relationship with Nauta as they are one of the leading ship yards in the region and a major force in the vessel repair market.

In addition, the agreement will enable customers to benefit from a coordinated approach to their vessel servicing requirements.

Rolls-Royce is currently increasing its cooperation with shipyards in a bid to offer expert support to the customer as close as possible, and claims that the agreements are complementary to its network of global service centres.
