“The integration of HHI’s ISS and our EDS creates the possibility to access even more detailed data analysis by drawing on the core competencies of both companies, leading to unique and highly valuable insights.”

WinGD’s EDS system is designed to provide continuous, intelligent-diagnostics of the engine and component performance.

The system aims to alert a ship’s operator prior to an alarm signal in order to help schedule necessary maintenance to improve safety and avoid unscheduled engine interruptions.

HHI launched its ISS solution last year, with an aim to standardise ways of navigation varying depending on levels of skills and experiences of navigators.

Enabling economical and reliable navigation and management of ships, the solution allows the collection and evaluation of real-time information on navigation.

It eventually helps improve efficiency and safety of ships.
