France-based container shipping company CMA CGM Group has entered a strategic partnership with Indian technology firm Infosys to simplify and transform IT applications. 

Under the new seven-year partnership, Infosys will open a new development and innovation centre in Marseilles, France.

Infosys will take control of CMA CGM IT's development centre in Dubai, UAE, to improve French company's presence in the Middle East. 

In addition, Infosys will provide CMA CGM with the skills required to maintain its applications and develop systems applications products (SAP) projects.

CMA CGM will also receive new high value-added technologies to improve its skill and responsiveness as part of the new deal.
