Luxury cruise line Panache Cruises has announced the completion of its £1m HQ office in Chorley, UK, which it stated was completed on time and within budget using shipbuilding materials.
The project, designed by architectural firm Elizabeth George, will join three offices into one converted space. The office will accommodate the expansive team, which has doubled in the past year, according to Panache.

This is reported to be the first time shipbuilding materials have been used in commercial office construction.
According to Panache, the refurbished office was built using materials that are commonly used in the marine and offshore industries.
Panache Cruises founder and CEO James Cole explained how an Oceania ship’s new interior was the inspiration for the office.
Cole said: “We have been very impressed with the results and many of these materials can be reused, which was an important environmental consideration for us. Easy and quick to deploy due to the self-adhesive nature of each product, our builders have been incredibly impressed with the quality too.”
