SynDeck™ is a complete line of deck underlayment products and systems utilized in the construction, overhaul and repair of decking and other surfaces in the marine environment. Products are certified for US Navy use, including ultra lightweight underlayments that meet military specifications for weight and performance. High quality epoxy color and clear topcoats are utilized to provide a decorative, scratch-resistant, long lasting deck and surface covering. Products are US Coast Guard (USCG) approved with Wheelmark accreditation.

SynDeck™ products can be utilized in a wide range of marine applications including, military vessels, cruise ships, commercial yachts, pleasure yachts, ferries and workboats. SynDeck™ decking materials have been applied for more than 20 years in marine environments. They are designed to lower maintenance and repair costs and have proven to be durable against corrosion and wear even under extreme conditions.

Lightweight alternative underlayment for ship decking

The ship building/repair industry is highly focused on the efficiencies that come from ultra lightweight materials. The SynDeck™ Ultra Lightweight Underlayment system gives you the highest performance with the lightest possible weight. It meets the US Navy’s criteria for all underlayment to weigh 0.75# (0.34kg) per square foot at ¼in (6.3mm) installed.

SynDeck™ Ultra Lightweight Terrazzo is a three‐component, aggregate-filled, 100% solids amine cured epoxy flooring system that is 0‐VOC. The system is a two‐day process that will fair and level your deck leaving a durable, decorative floor.

On an equal application basis Syndeck™ 1290FC and 1290FC Terrazzo are over three times lighter than traditional cement type underlayments. Take the weight out without losing performance. SynDeck™ Ultra Lightweight Underlayment

Formulated to be used on decks and other surfaces where irregularities, grades and contours need to be corrected in order to install any approved or decorative flooring where weight and corrosion are a primary concern. This product has very low porosity, is excellent for use in wet spaces, and has excellent adhesion. It is US Navy, USCG, IMO and Wheelmark accredited.

SynDeck™ Ultra Lightweight Terrazzo

Formulated to be applied to showers, heads, mess areas, steps, offices, galleys, and berthing areas. It is well suited for wet spaces and high abuse areas. Trowel applied to areas where irregularities, grades, or contours exist. US Navy, USCG, IMO and Wheelmark accredited.

SynDeck™ Flex IMO

Formulated to be used on decks and other surfaces where irregularities, grades and contours need to be corrected in order to install any approved or decorative flooring where weight and corrosion are a primary concern. This semi self-leveling product is very flexible, is excellent for use in wet spaces, and has excellent adhesion. It is USCG, IMO and Wheelmark accredited.

SynDeck™ 1.5 IMO Underlayment

Formulated to be used on decks and other surfaces where irregularities, grades and contours need to be corrected. Product has very low porosity and is excellent for use in wet spaces. It is US Navy, USCG, IMO and Wheelmark accredited. Syndeck™ 1.5 IMO Underlayment is a slightly heavier, lower cost option to the 1290FC Underlayment.

SynDeck™ Clear Top Coat

High quality topcoat sealer where a clear, bright, blemish free surface is desired. Used to achieve a high gloss, chemical and abrasive resistant coating. When applied in a high humidity and low temperature conditions, product exhibits excellent dry/cure time results.

SynDeck™ Color Coat

Epoxy durable color coat that does not blush when applied in low temperatures or in high humidity. IMO and military spec versions are available.

SynDeck™ IMO UVR

High quality top coat sealer with good UV resistance. Low odor and easy application. Excellent for providing UV resistance in a Marine environment. USCG, IMO and Wheelmark accredited.

SynDeck™ Epoxy Adhesive

Marine-grade epoxy adhesive formulated for use under VCT, vinyl, tile, rubber or other materials. Excellent adhesion, low odor, easy to use.
