Green’s has been awarded a Queen’s Award for International Trade in recognition of its outstanding growth in overseas sales.

Green’s has completed more than 2,500 projects in the UK and overseas and equipment from Green’s can be found on most continents, with the exception of Antarctica. International sales have grown by more than 90% in the past three years and almost 67% of its total sales are now exported.

The main countries Green’s exports to are Finland, Denmark and Australia, and additional new markets that are proving successful recently include Bangladesh and Russia. In some places, Green’s works directly with the power generation, including waste to energy and biomass, industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical and marine sectors and in others they engage agents depending on cultural preferences and ways of working in different places.

Green’s managing director Matthew Crewe says: “It is great testament to the passion and dedication of our teams based in Wakefield and working at customers’ sites around the world for our achievements to be recognised with a Queen’s Award. We will be displaying our achievement proudly, as well as using it to open doors to new commercial opportunities and partnerships at home and abroad.”
