Weka Boxcoolers will be present at the Europort 2015 exhibition in Ahoy Rotterdam. We will showcase our full range of commercial marine cooling systems.
They all come with the latest technological developments in terms of the environment, economy and durability. Weka boxcoolers are fitted in all kinds of propulsion vessels.
WEKA has been manufacturing marine products since 1957. The core business is boxcoolers, which are used for inland waterways and sea-going vessels. Weka offers a range of materials for different applications. This is for economical as well as for environmental reasons.
Weka Boxcoolers are available in a variety of sizes and offer solutions for cooling, auxiliary, and various combinations of engine cooling. The technology is built on the same basic principles as conventional coated boxcoolers, with the exception of an ICAF system. Each cooling element consists of copper nickel 90/10 tubes. 90/10 cupronickel is a 90% copper, 10% nickel alloy that also contains small but important additions of iron and manganese to enhance overall strength corrosion and marine growth resistance. This, combined with high ductility and toughness, makes it a popular grade for marine applications.
WEKA visited operators, designers and shipbuilders of tugboats, offshore vessels, ferries, patrol boats and super yachts all over the world. By understanding your business, your tasks, your responsibilities, and your concerns, we were able to incorporate what we learned into a straightforward boxcooler design. Please visit one of our sales representatives at the Europort exhibition in Rotterdam. They will be glad to tell you about the possibilities we can offer. We will join forces with Fernstrum and Carlsen on stand 1707. Your visit is greatly appreciated.
