A new Pilotage Act in Finland will come into force on 1 September 2023.
According to the new Act, all pilotage examinations will be provided by a specially trained person approved by Traficom, not by a training provider. As a result, Aboa Mare will not be offering pilotage examinations after 31 August 2023. Until that date, we will continue to provide pilotage examinations as usual.
