Austal will supply the Government of Timor-Leste with two Guardian Class Pacific Patrol Boats (PPB), increasing the number of vessels to be built under Australia’s SEA 3036 Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement (PPB-R) programme to 21.

The first vessel is already under construction, and is scheduled for delivery in Q3 2018.

Austal received a contract for the vessels in May 2016, which is worth $305m. The deal includes associated in-service support.
