Viking Cruises Ltd intends to raise $675m through the private placement of 5% senior secured notes due 2028.
Viking is expected to use the proceeds from the offering to fund general corporate operations.
In addition, the company has announced the pricing of 5.875% senior notes due 2027.
Viking intends to raise $275m through the private placement of the notes.
Baydelta Maritime has selected Jensen Maritime for the design of a new 100ft hybrid tractor tugboat.
The boat will be equipped with a Z-Drive system and various Rolls-Royce hybrid technologies, as well as a Nichols Brothers Boat Builders (NBBB) hybrid system.
The tugboat is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2019 and will feature a pilot house, deckhouse, mess and lounge area.
It will be able to accommodate up to eight crew members.
The multi-modal vessel’s design will allow it to be operated in direct-diesel, diesel-electric or fully electric configurations using the Rolls-Royce hybrid system.
Peterson Power will supply four generators for the vessel.
Titan LNG has signed a long-term contract with the Port of Amsterdam to lease the port for its bunkering pontoon, FlexFueler001.
The pontoon is anticipated to provide easy, economical and safe liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering services for LNG-powered vessels visiting the facility.
The deal is also expected to facilitate the development of Amsterdam’s LNG bunkering market.
Rolls-Royce Commercial Marine has received an order to deliver battery-powered energy systems for six offshore vessels.
The contract also includes an option for the supply of equipment for two more vessels.
Rolls-Royce will be responsible for providing an energy storage container system (ESSU), an upgraded ship design engineering package, and dynamic positioning (DP) and ACON control systems, as well as the new Rolls-Royce Energy Monitoring system as part of the arrangement.
The vessels are owned by a newly formed joint venture (JV) between SEACOR Marine Holding and China Cosco Shipping Group known as SEACOSCO.
