When delivered, Silver Dawn will be a sister ship of Silversea’s Silver Muse vessel, which was launched from Fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente shipyard in Genoa, Italy, in April last year.

Silver Dawn represents the third ship of the Silver Muse class and the 11th ship of Silversea Cruises’ fleet.

Upon completion, the ship will be equipped with all-suite accommodations and will share many of Silver Muse’s qualities.

The latest contract follows a shipbuilding order placed by Silversea Cruises with Fincantieri in September. The order involved the construction of Silver Muse’s sister ship, Silver Moon, which is expected to be delivered in 2020.
