“We entrusted Konecranes with this important renewal of our container handling equipment because of the high productivity and reliability of these straddle carriers.”

A Konecranes engineer will be available at the terminal for three months and will help train operators to ensure that all machines operate successfully.

Konecranes Noell Straddle Carriers are suitable for step-by-step enlargement of container terminals as required and are also available as automated versions.

Powered by eco-efficient diesel engines, they are available with diesel-hydraulic and diesel-electric drive types in a wide range of options.

The container terminal operator can use the carriers to reduce the number of container handling machine types and interfaces.

Straddle carriers are expected to be delivered next month.
