By GlobalDataOne of the Navis Smart Suite applications Mobile Reefer ensures data accountability and reduces errors. Reefer technicians can increase productivity and eliminate the need for manual tracking of reefer containers within a terminal.
Another application, the Tower Checker, identifies and flags towers of stacked containers that are creating a safety hazard for workers and increases safety within the yard.
This app’s planning features enable customers to resolve problems at the time of loading sequences and avoid the creation of new towers. This will increase safety in the yard.
Terminal operators can use the Berth Planning application to digitise their berth plans.
Aftab added: “The release of this suite of Navis Smart applications reflects our plan to deliver the next generation TOS.”
