Neptune Energy Netherlands has awarded a contract to offshore vessel operator Sea Mar Shipping for its Sea Mar Splendid vessel.
The contract is for a period of three years and has two one-year options.
Neptune Energy will be assisted by the inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) vessel and crew with its campaigns on the Dutch Continental Shelf beginning March until 2021.
The 59m-long Sea Mar Splendid will be used for air diving support duties. It will offer a safe and stable working platform for IRM operations.
Sea Mar’s latest contract represents a continuance of the existing relationship between Neptune Energy Netherlands and the company.
For the last ten years, both the companies worked together when the Sea Mar Splendid vessel achieved Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) track record with zero LTI.
