ABB Turbo Systems has entered an agreement to acquire Switzerland-based Tekomar Group for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition is expected to strengthen ABB’s Ability digital product portfolio with the addition of a propulsion performance monitoring solution optimised for two-stroke main engines and auxiliary engine applications.

The company intends to continue the development of Tekomar’s digital solution for engine analytics and advisory systems in order to provide better performance for marine customers.
