Aker Solutions has received NKr150m ($26.56m) contracts from several South Korean shipyards to supply Pusnes offshore loading systems.

According to the contract, Aker will supply Pusnes bow loading systems for ten suezmax shuttle tankers that will operate in Brazil and Norway.

The Pusnes bow loading system is designed to provide a safe, secure connection for the hose to the shuttle tanker, which can be quickly and safely disconnected if needed, without causing surge loads in the hose.

The equipment is scheduled to be delivered in 2012 and 2013.

Out of the ten shuttle tankers, eight are under construction for various shipowners and will operate offshore Brazil.

The other two will operate for a Norwegian shipowner at the Goliat field development in the Barents Sea.
