"Spectrum will be another giant leap forward in vessel design and guest experiences that will provide travellers with ample opportunities to create unforgettable memories."

Spectrum will join its sister ships Quantum of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas once completed.

Royal Caribbean previously announced that construction had been completed on the exteriors of its new Oasis-class ship Symphony of the Seas in June.

The vessel was floated out of its dry dock to begin the next phase of interior construction following the completion.

The 230,000t Symphony of the Seas is scheduled to be launched by April and will feature 28 more staterooms than its sister ship Harmony of the Seas.
