COSCO to construct dry bulk vessels

COSCO's Singapore unit has won a $68m contract from an unnamed Asian company to build two dry bulk carriers.

COSCO’s Singapore unit has won a $68m contract from an unnamed Asian company to build two dry bulk carriers.

The vessels will weigh 82,000dwt each and will be built at the company’s COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard in China.

The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2013.
