Cosco Singapore has won an order worth $113m to build a special purpose carrier from an unnamed European shipowner.

The extra order comes after the shipowner exercised an option for the carrier, having already ordered the new-builds in February 2011.

The bulk carrier will be built at Guangdong shipyard and ischeduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2013.
