The Maranda consortium has secured €3m ($3.19m) in funding from the EU under its Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking programme.

Comprising PowerCell Sweden (publ), ABB, Suomen ympäristökeskus, Teknologian tutkimuskeskus, OMB Saleri, PersEE and Swiss Hydrogen, the consortium will use the financing to develop a new fuel cell system designed for marine applications.

Cargotec’s MacGregor unit has signed a three-year agreement with Peter Döhle Schiffahrts Group to provide its MacGregor Onboard Care (MOC) service to its fleet of 70 vessels.

Royal Boskalis Westminster (Boskalis) has been awarded a €480m ($510m) contract by the Special Economic Zone Authority Duqm (Sezad) for the engineering, design and construction of the port of Duqm, Oman.

Boskalis is a maritime infrastructure and services provider based in the Netherlands.
