Damen Shipyards has delivered the third and final Fugro offshore coastal survey vessel (FOCSV) to Fugro.
The new vessel, Fugro Frontier, is a compact, diesel-electric FOCSV designed for a different range of tasks, including survey, monitoring and inspection operations.
Fugro received the first and second FOCSV, Fugro Proteus and Fugro Pioneer, in July and September this year, respectively.
The vessels will be able to undertake geotechnical work, environmental baseline surveys, moon pool deployment, plus monitoring and inspection duties.
Damen Benelux region sales director Mijndert Wiesenekker said: "Since these vessels are to work in different areas, each is adapted to suit a particular environment.
"As a result, this series has been developed specifically to allow for a number of optional configurations."
