Arctech Helsinki Shipyard has begun the construction of a second icebreaking supply vessel for Russian shipping company Sovcomflot at the Helsinki Shipyard, Finland.
The company started building the first vessel at the Vyborg Shipyard in July 2011.
The project requires 42 hull blocks, of which 37 will be assembled at Vyborg and five at Helsinki.
The vessel pair will be delivered in April 2013 and will be used to supply the Arkutun-Dagi oil and gas production platform of Exxon Neftegas in the Sakhalin area of Russia.
