Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has received a $400m order from Singapore-based BW Maritime to build two 155,000cbm LNG carriers.

The order also includes an option to build another pair of LNG vessels of the same class.

The vessels will have a length of 228m, width of 44.2m, depth of 26m and feature a dual fuel diesel engine system (DFDE) that allows them to run on oil fuel or natural gas.

The ships are scheduled to be delivered in the second half of 2014 and the first half of 2015 respectively.
