Norwegian subsea operator DOF Subsea has announced it has now fully acquired the Canadian Subsea Shipping Company (CSS) after purchasing the remaining 55% stake.

DOF Subsea is an offshore and subsea services provider, while CSS is a ship-building company.

Israel-based companies Samy Katsav, Sko-Car and Gold Bond Group have announced plans to jointly acquire a 19% stake in Israel Shipyards from Clal Industries for a sum of ILS138m ($37.79m). 

"Israel-based companies Samy Katsav, Sko-Car and Gold Bond Group have announced plans to jointly acquire a 19% stake in Israel Shipyards."

Gold Bond specialises in storage, transport and cargo handling services, while Clal Industries is engaged in investment holding. Israel Shipyards is a provider and operator of shipbuilding and repair facilities.

The transaction will see Gold Bond acquire an additional 4.5% stake in the target company for ILS34.5m ($9.44m) on top its current 20% share.
