Navis, a unit of Cargotec, has delivered its terminal operating system to six new Latin American port terminals, five of which have already gone live with the Navis SPARCS N4.

These terminals are Altamira Terminal Portuaria, Mexico; Contecon Manzanillo, Mexico; Itapoa Terminais Portuarios, Brazil; Tecplata, Argentina; and Terminal Vila Velha, Brazil.

In addition, Contrans Bonded Offdock and Depot in Callao, Peru has also deployed Navis Argo.

The company has also signed contracts with five terminals to upgrade the existing systems to Navis SPARCS N4 or implement new modules.

Terminal Vila Velha and Terminal Rio De La Plata are upgrading to SPARCS N4 while Itapua Port Terminal has deployed its SPARCS N4 along with Operator Load / Discharge and Equipment Control SDK modules.

Navis will upgrade Equipment Control SDK and Automated Vessel Load & Discharge modules for Multi Rio.
