STX OSV Holdings, a designer and shipbuilder of offshore and specialised vessels, has secured a contract to build an Arctic trawler from Remøy Fiskeriselskap.

The vessel will be built to the Skipsteknisk ST-117 design and will be 74m in length with a beam of 16m.

The hull of the vessel will be configured at STX OSV in Romania.

The vessel is scheduled to be delivered from STX OSV Brattvaag in Norway in the third quarter of 2013.
