STX OSV has won a contract to design and build a platform supply vessel (PSV) for Troms Offshore Supply.
The 3,800dwt PSV will be built at STX OSV Braila shipyard in Romania, based on STX’s PSV 08 design, and outfitted at STX OSV Brevik shipyard in Norway.
The PSV will have a length of 81m and is scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2013.
The company already has one PSV under construction for Norway-based Troms Offshore Supply, which is scheduled for delivery in 2012.
