China’s Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding has won an order from Singapore-based Norr Systems to build two new bulkers.

The two 64,000dwt vessels are scheduled to be delivered in 2013, according to asiasis.com.

According to reports the vessels are expected to cost around $30m each.

Upon delivery the vessels will be signed on a long-term charter to an unnamed Asian shipowner.

The Singapore-based firm has also ordered four 5,000dwt bunker tankers at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering, which are scheduled for delivery between the second quarter of 2012 and the first quarter of 2013.
