The first three berths, which were built under phase one development, have commenced operations.
Tuas Port will feature a comprehensive and well-linked supply chain and logistics ecosystem along the western seaboard of the country.
Claimed to be the nucleus of Singapore’s maritime and logistics value chain, Tuas Port leverages technology and automation to deliver a suite of value-added port services and advanced cargo solutions.
The deployment of digital solutions is expected to help the port to manage supply chains better and support PSA’s customers in handling cargo flows.
PSA has deployed smart technologies and intelligent data-driven operations management systems at the port.
Furthermore, PSA has developed its data analytics and digitalisation capabilities as part of Tuas Port’s modular design to accommodate the changing demands as it continues to develop into 2040 and beyond.
PSA International group chairman Peter Voser said: Tuas Port is where we can help to realise the immense potential of Singapore as a trade hub for the world and where our people’s passion for excellence meets higher purpose.
“We will live up to this responsibility and continue to span new frontiers to achieve sustainable business success. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Government, our customers, business partners and all our stakeholders for their unwavering support all these years.
