The Celebrity Apex cruise ship is the second edge-class cruise ship under development for Celebrity Cruises.
It is a sister ship to Celebrity Edge, which entered service in December 2018. Celebrity Cruises placed an order with Chantiers de l’Atlantique (formerly STX France) for the construction of the Celebrity Apex cruise ship in December 2014. The first steel was cut for the ship in July 2018.
Scheduled to be delivered and christened in March 2020, the cruise ship will embark on its maiden voyage from Southampton, in April 2020.
The ship is designed in the modern iconic architecture style. The vessel will retain the features and design of the Edge series.

The Club and Evenings of Wonder at Eden will provide evening entertainment. The ship will host new production shows such as Rockumentary, Tree of Life, and Crystalize.
The Rockumentary will provide classic rock moments for the visitors on the ship. The Tree of Life will provide the guests with an illuminating experience through the changing seasons of the tree. Crystalize will offer performances through laser projections, light and custom video content.
The spa aboard the ship will house the SEA Thermal Suite and will offer 120 soothing treatments and therapies.
