FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS Releases CAESES 5.4 with Extended Maritime Workflows and New Infrastructure Capabilities
FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS, developer of the leading simulation-driven design software CAESES, today announced the release of version 5.4, delivering powerful new tools for naval architects and marine engineers.
Highlights include an extended component-based ship hull modelling workflow with dedicated modules for waterline-based aftship, section-based foreship, centre skegs, rudders, propellers, and a complete hard-chined planing boat workflow. Enhanced floating conditions, fully parametric KCS and KVLCC2 benchmark models, improved trimmed-surface IGES export, and advanced curve parameterisation ensure higher-quality surfaces and robust optimisation.
The new CTC Server (CAESES Task Controller) with Slurm Bridge enables scalable HPC job scheduling and monitoring.
These capabilities accelerate geometry creation, simulation readiness, and automated workflows, helping users design competitive vessels faster.
