Norbert Haslacher has been appointed as Frequentis chief executive officer at the company’s annual general meeting.

The former CEO and Frequentis owner Hannes Bardach has joined the Frequentis supervisory board as chairman.

Previously responsible for sales and marketing in the Frequentis executive board, Norbert Haslacher will head the Frequentis Group, an international provider of communication and information solutions for safety-critical applications.

Before his Frequentis assignment, Haslacher spent more than 15 years at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), a global IT services company focusing on application development, systems integration, outsourcing, Cloud, big data, and cybersecurity.

During his tenure with Frequentis, Haslacher has been able to contribute his extensive software knowledge, as well as his broad international experience. This is confirmed by the impressive sales track record in the past three years, he has been able to continuously increase the order intake and successfully broaden the international market presence of the high-tech company. With a new sales structure, Frequentis reached a record order intake of €288m in 2017.

Haslacher is assisted by the proven executive board team with Sylvia Bardach as CFO and Hermann Mattanovich as CTO.

In addition, owner Hannes Bardach will also play an advisory and supporting role for success-critical tasks as an active chairman of the supervisory board.
