Seabourn, a brand of US-based cruise line Carnival, has launched its latest ultra-luxury cruise ship, Seabourn Encore, in Singapore.
Designed by hospitality design icon Adam D Tihany, Seabourn Encore is the fourth ultra-luxury vessel of Seabourn.
The second vessel of the same category, Seabourn Ovation, is currently under construction and is scheduled for launch by next year.
Featuring a secluded for-charge sanctuary, dining destination as well as other modern design elements and innovations, Seabourn Encore has already begun its ten-day sea cruise period bound for Indonesia.
Seabourn president Richard Meadows said: "The launch of Seabourn Encore marks the start of a new era of ultra-luxury cruising.
"Seabourn Encore marks a major step forward in terms of growth for our company.
“This ship is stunningly beautiful and I know guests are going to be absolutely captivated as they step aboard and see it firsthand."
After completing its inaugural voyage, Seabourn Encore plans to carry out a 16-day journey covering Australia and New Zealand.
Among various other trips, the ship is also expected to spend the summer season of this year along the Mediterranean region.
Capable of carrying 450 and 600 guests, each of the existing Seabourn fleet features all-suite cabins and serves various destinations across the globe.
Seabourn has also formed alliance with Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Cunard Line, Costa Cruises and other cruise lines.
