The installation of Navis’ Compass will help the terminals to enhance the quality of the planning and tracking process to improve their efficiency.

Leveraging Navis Smart technology, the new collaborative tool unlocks a large amount of data within the TOS for better visibility and speed across all parts of an operation.

The latest deployment follows a successful trial of Compass for YILPORT’s Oslo terminal where it reduced miscommunication across locations and will prevent claims going forward.

To collect feedback on the main features, YILPORT and Navis continued to enhance the Compass application during the one-month trial period.

Navis launched its Compass visual workflow management application in March. It standardises the way terminals work and helps to improve the quality of the planning process’ overall output.

Compass is easy to implement and has multiple deployment options that are suitable for every terminal.

In April, Denmark-based Thorco Projects selected Navis’ Bluetracker for the compliance monitoring and evaluation of its own and contracted vessels.

With Bluetracker One’s Charter Monitor module, Thorco will be able to monitor the operational speed versus fuel oil consumption in compliance with the agreed terms of the charter party.
