Hoyer Motors has boosted its cooperation with Allweiler, and currently extensive electric motor deliveries are being made to the marine industry in Germany from Hoyer Motors’ warehouse.

The cooperation entails delivery of electric motors for pumps for a large number of vessels, and will extend over the next few months. Allweiler is a market-leading pump manufacturer based in Germany that has supplied pumps to both the marine industry and land-based machine industry for more than 150 years. Allweiler is currently Hoyer Motors’ largest customer in the area of pumps for the marine industry.

“This cooperation has helped Hoyer Motors to build up strong competence in the area of marine motors, and has also meant that we today have extensive stocks of Hoyer marine motors. Via our Chinese company Hoyer Motors Asia we have also created sound relations with Colfax Wuxi, a company in the same group as Allweiler,” says Thomas Klausen, sales manager at Hoyer.

The first contacts between Allweiler and Hoyer were established back in 2003. During 2004 the first commercial transactions were made, after which things moved fast. Contact with Allweiler in Germany was established the year after, and the cooperation between the German pump manufacturer and Hoyer became a reality in 2006.
