Riku Anttila Attended Tenth Meeting of the IMO Sub-Committee on Human Element, Training, and Watchkeeping-feature-image

Aboa Mare Maritime Academy and Training Centre head Riku Anttila participated, as a member of the Finnish delegation, in the tenth meeting of the IMO Sub-Committee on Human Element, Training and Watchkeeping (HTW), where a comprehensive review of the STCW Convention and Code took place. The meeting provided not only valuable discussions, but also a chance to meet colleagues from the worldwide maritime education and training field.

Finnish delegation head Santeri Lunkka, Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) representative Irina Laine , Åland University of Applied Sciences member Bengt Malmberg, and Novia University of Applied Sciences, Aboa Mare member Riku Anttila represented the Finnish delegation at the meeting, which was held on 5–9 February 2024 at the IMO headquarters, in London.
