Dutch Marine Systems - Bulkhead, Ceiling and Door Systems

The fabrication of ships' interiors has long been a widely respected craft. However, the materials that give this ancient craft its handsome good looks (fine hardwood and hardwood veneers) often fail to satisfy the regulations that ships' interiors have to meet. In developing its bulkhead, ceiling and door systems, Dutch Marine Systems (DMS) has attempted to do justice to this craft by creating systems that satisfy the shipping industry's current standards for the interior outfitting of ships.

DMS PRODUCTS

DMS products are intended for use on three, four and five-star inland passenger vessels, cruise ships, mega yachts and ferries. When developing our products, the safety of passengers and crew is always our top priority. All of our various bulkhead systems (B0, B15 and B30) have a certificate of type approval, as do our B15 and B30 door and doorframe.

DMS BULKHEAD SYSTEM

• Fire safety for the end user; B0, B15 and B30
• The bulkheads are installed seamlessly for an entirely smooth finish
• The bulkhead can be finished in any number of ways including plaster, wallpaper, veneer, marble and paint
• The bulkhead thickness of 70mm or 100mm allows space for the building in of electric cables and water pipes
• The bulkheads' dB range of 42dB to 44dB provides excellent sound insulation
• The bulkheads are assembled on site, making it easy to make changes during construction without adding to construction time or generating cost increases

DMS CEILING SYSTEM

• Non-combustible
• The ceilings are installed seamlessly for an entirely smooth finish
• On-site construction
• The ceilings can be made to a number of finishes

DMS DOOR

• Very low weight
• Fire safety for the end user
• The doors can be finished with veneer, paint or laminate
• No u-profiles around the doors
• Frame and door can be installed in only 20 minutes
• B15 and B30 doors have certificate of type approval

Our Vari product is C class and is a very light material used to create:

To satisfy all regulations, DMS works closely with Bureau Veritas. Bureau Veritas is an internationally operating certification agency that has been responsible for the issuing of certificates and the monitoring of the continuity of quality of certified products since 1828. This certification is an important added benefit with which DMS can demonstrate that it is a professional and reliable supplier and that its products meet the requirements set within the shipping industry.
