Escape Safe (UK) Ltd, have recently returned from Gdansk in Poland, where they successfully completed the turnkey safety sign projects on board the new Stena ferries, Superfast 7 and Superfast 8.
Following an initial vessel survey to determine sign types and quantities plus total metreage of photo luminescent low location lighting systems, Escape Safe then supplied and installed new safety signs and low location lighting systems on both vessels.
The photo luminescent material that was used, known as Triple A (AAA) is M.E.D (Marine Equipment Directive) and Lloyds Type Approved, and is four times brighter in darkness than Ordinary Class A photo luminescent material.
