3Si Group company Ocean Safety has announced a range of operational requirements for fishing vessels...
3Si Group member Ocean Safety has announced that the company will be appearing at the upcoming METS event in order to showcase its latest superyacht safety innovations.
These will include the recently launched Ocean SOLAS Ultralite liferaft, sought after by grand prix racing yachts and carried on each of the Volvo Ocean Race yachts in the 2017 / 2018 race.
The liferaft is a totally new concept derived from Ocean Safety’s original space-saving Ocean SOLAS Compact liferaft.
It uses carbon composite technology to achieve a significant 23% weight saving, a vital boost in the search for speed.
A new compact man overboard safety ladder, deployable from the water, will also be debuting at the show and has already been successfully installed on many sailing yachts.
3Si sales director David Peach comments: “These new innovations are outstanding additions to the extensive range of safety equipment that Ocean Safety supplies to the superyacht market.
“We are proud to be a trusted adviser and safety supplier to many world renowned superyacht yards.”
Visit Ocean Safety on the 3Si stand at METS on stand 03.310 in the UK Pavilion.
Their team of experts will be on hand to advise, plan and help you select safety inventories, whether your requirement is to meet MCA’s LY3 requirement or to fulfil the Class XII Regulations for pleasure yachts over 24m.
