On 16 December 2015, japanese classification society Class-NK issued a type-approval certificate for the DESMI Ocean Guard RayCleanTM ballast water treatment system.
RayCleanTM has also received:
- IMO and DNV GL type-approval certificate
- US Coast Guard AMS acceptance
