Expomaritt Exposhipping is an international trade fair for the shipping and shipbuilding industry that will take place in Istanbul, Türkiye on 18-21 February 2025. The maritime exhibition is organised on behalf of the Turkish Chamber of Shipping and attracts regional and international stakeholders of the shipping industry interested in the latest technologies and products related to shipbuilding, ship repair, maritime equipment, environmental protection and logistics solutions.

Apart from Martechnic’s well-established technical solutions for on-board condition monitoring of fuel, lube and hydraulic oil, we will be showcasing two new products.
Martechnic’s Customer Relations Manager, Dr. Frank Bernier, will present our innovative, patent pending test device MT COOLANT CHECK designed for chemical-free assessment of the engine coolant quality. The remaining corrosion protection of water-based coolants is determined with just one single measurement through a single coolant sample using the electrotechnical apparatus with steel and stainless steel electrodes in a simulated engine cooling system. All the evaluation is carried out fully automatically, delivering results in just 15 minutes.
Another new test kit of Martechnic MT UREA CHECK enables regular on-board quality monitoring of urea-based marine diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) AUS 40, used for diesel engines with the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system. The quick assessment is conducted in accordance with ISO 18611-1:2014 and aims to determine possible error sources, such as technical deviating specifications, thermal instability (shelf life) and dilution (possibly chemical contamination).
